Me, my partner, the girls and the dog went up to Dovedale on Saturday. We had a great time walking round the river and then going over the Stepping Stones. We had a little picnic at the side of the river which was really nice and the girls said it was one of there best days ever!!!
The only thing that was bad was the amount of dogs that weren't being controlled by their owners either due to not being on a lead or being on an extension lead and going for our dog!! Most of the dogs that did try to go for ours were little dogs so obviously got the big dog syndrome!! The thing is my dog would have them for breakfast if she wanted!! There were some really nice dogs too that our dog just wanted to play with and there was a gorgeous looking male staffy who was being a proper staffy by jumping in the river and then thinking "oh how am I going to get out now?"!! They do make me laugh with their antics and behaviour. I do still miss mine loads and I'm not the only one we all do!!!

What kind of pet?
I would love to know what people have, had and would like in the way of pets or furr babies as I know some people call their loved ones as I am doing research into this. I will start off so if you would like to post and put what you have please do so and thank you it's much appreciated.
Well I have or had Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Hamsters, a Mouse, a Rat, Birds of all sizes and shapes, Goldfish, Tropical fish, Giant African Land Snails, Bearded Dragons, Geckos, Snakes, Terrapins and I think that is it! Lol I would love to have a Chihuahua or a Chinese Crested Powder Puff

My Dogs
I have two dogs who are totally amazing with both children, adults and other animals.
There is a 14 year old girl and a 3 year old girl. They are both so loving and yeah they are monsters at times but I wouldn't swap them for the world. The old one I think is going blind and doesn't get around much but still knows what she wants as soon as you get her food bowl she makes sure you feed her by barking at you saying "dinner" and can sniff food out rather quick. The other one likes sitting on the kids trampoline looking what's going off around her as she can see in the neighbours gardens!! They are both such funny characters I don't know how they can get so stereotyped with what breed they are!!! We took them to the beach for the first time last year and it was so nice just to sit in the sun with them that we are going to do it again this year. I was determined for them to go last year so that I could say I had taken the old one before it was time to go to the "Rainbow Bridge" for her but thankfully she keeps plodding on surprising us with her ability to carry on regardless!!
She had to be rushed into the vets when she was 11 years old when we had to rush her to the vets as she was very poorly because of me not getting her done even though she was never bred with she got an inflamed uterus so had to have an emergency spade. She was touch and go whether she would survive as a) the worst one the vet had seen b) her age but no she managed to pull through and make i full recovery. She even kept splitting her wound every time she got out of the car from the vets after her check-up so then had to be taken back to the vets to get rewrapped!! It was very upsetting to see her this way hence why my other girl has been done!!
They both have copped well with a lot of things like moving as the oldest one has moved four times where the younger one is twice, babies coming into the family, different animals becoming part of the family too.
So to summarise I love my dogs for being themselves, how well they have coped/cope with everything and wouldn't be without them!!!
